Clerkenwell Design Week is over and Flexiforms first ever appearance at the event went down a treat.
Visitors to the showroom we able to see the new ranges of business furniture that Flexiform has recently developed, including Jot-Up, Fyn and Ferro. The latter being a step in a new direction of style for Flexiform, which has got the furniture industry seeing a new stylistic approach to Flexiform’s functional furniture. Visitors to the showroom were able to see contemporary design fused with practicality on every piece of furniture on show.
Ferro’s raw style can be seen across desking, storage, meeting tables and collaborative tables. A particular stand out part of the Ferro design that caught people’s attention was the graffiti styling on the desk and storage configurations, as well as the textured high pressure laminate surfaces featured across the full Ferro range.
It wasn’t just the aesthetically pleasing Ferro range that got visitors to the showroom talking about Flexiform, there was also the innovative Jot-Up desking. Jot-Up is not only styled differently to previous Flexiform ranges, but you can also adjust the height of the desk electronically, depending on whether you want to sit or stand at the desk.
As with all Flexiform furniture functionality is the key and this is definitely something that hasn’t been compromised in both the Ferro and Jot-Up ranges. Visitors to the showroom were able to see the efficient use of cable management across all of the ranges on display, many of which were envious of how neat and tidy the cables were kept, when comparing to their own office set-ups.
Another stand out piece during the exhibition was the versatile Fyn screens, which were demonstrated, mounted to desks. Visitors were able to easily adjust, move and join together these portable screens using the stylishly coloured zips that connect each of the screens together. Fyn screens truly made their mark on the industry during Clerkenwell Design Week, due to their aesthetically pleasing colour range, soft contoured edges and their innovative portability.
Of course furniture wasn’t all that the Yorkshire based business furniture manufacturer had to offer. Flexiform brought with them some locally brewed beer from Ossett brewery and some tasty pies from Brosters farm in Huddersfield. We’re sure everybody enjoyed these tasty treats as there wasn’t a single drop of ale left and only a few crumbs of pie!
