Flexiform has completed the installation of collaboration and meeting furniture for National Highways, Preston. Revisiting our 2016/2017 office furniture installation featuring desking, business storage, personal storage lockers, traditional meeting room furniture, and a basic canteen, National Highways wanted a refresh of the workspace to accommodate post-Covid-19, new ways of working and a hybrid workforce.
The brief was to update the existing office fit out with new colourful and innovative office furniture with the view to increase collaboration and meeting areas. Swapping out office bench desks and canteen furniture for the new spaces. Flexiform dismantled the old furniture which was re-located and reused at another site.

Collaborative Office Furniture
Flexiform supplied several office meeting and collaboration spaces with varying levels of privacy, group sizes and flexibility. The low-back modular L-shaped sofas with Additions coffee tables offer a comfortable away from the desk space to collaborate, chat or discuss projects. The space can also be easily rearranged with lightweight meeting chairs and Additions dining tables to accommodate very large team meetings. The pitched-roof open meeting pods were installed opposite for breakout space and informal meeting areas, with some featuring full media facilities. These provide a semi-private meeting space for users who require a quick catch-up, informal presentation or video call.
To provide a private meeting space, Flexiform installed the Bob enclosed acoustic pods with built-in seating, media facilities, power, electrics, PIR lighting and a quiet ventilation system. These office pods are ideal for private meetings, 1-2-1 and video calls, offering a comfortable meeting space. In addition to meeting pods, Flexiform also installed single work booths, allowing staff a private space to focus on their work. Flexiform is delighted to revisit and modernise this office space with up-to-date working practices and looks forward to continuing our work with National Highways.
