Flexiform completes the recent office installation of CreditSights, a leading independent research provider. Working alongside JAC Interiors, Flexiform supplied and installed a range of office furniture designed to improve the organisation, workflow, and storage potential. Freestor storage, Jot desks, screens, slim-line pedestals, CPU holders and monitor arms were selected by CreditSights, with each item having a clear purpose within the company’s workspace. Securely locking pedestals were installed to encourage secure, organised filing. The fabric and plexiglass screens, for example, featured an integrated tool rail to hold accessories. CreditSights selected box file holders that would allow staff to organise their desks efficiently – essential in both the research and finance sectors in which the client works. Whiteboards were also incorporated into screens for taking notes.
The screens were mounted on 70mm screen posts to leave open spaces between desks, encouraging collaboration and contributing to the office’s light, airy feel. The clean, white lines of the Jot desks and Freestor storage units contrasted with the coloured fabric screens, adding a splash of colour that, combined with the building’s large windows, provided a large amount of character and depth to the space.
Jot desks were chosen in particular for their chunky legs, minimal, clean design, and integrated cable management system. CreditSights chose a particularly unique configuration, with a single desk on the end, to suit the company’s individual working practices. Dual adjustable monitor arms were added to desks to hold multiple screens in line with each other, an important factor in DSE best practice. Elsewhere in the office space, Freestor Tambours of various heights were installed, creating a scrum pod and table layout with oversailing tops, ideal for ad-hoc meetings and planning sessions.
