Flexiform has completed the installation of breakout furniture for the Scottish Public Pensions Agency (SPPA). With a limited budget, SPPA required new collaborative workspaces to accommodate small to large workgroups and a revamp of their reception area. The space had unique style and characteristics with a vaulted ceiling and blue carpet.
To complement the workspace shell, Flexiform embraced new on-trend office furniture with a retro influence, button detailing, contrasting fabric and curved edges. We selected a range of fabric colours including blue, yellows and beiges to create a warm, bright and inviting space.
Collaboration Furniture
The collaborative area featured a mixture of workspaces including large modular sofas with a high back, integral table and meeting chairs, a collection of low office sofas and armchairs complete with occasional table, plus an office meeting booth with a roof to create a semi-private acoustic workspace. This collection of office meeting furniture created a range of spaces to suit different staff needs from semi-formal meeting areas to relaxing and informal chats. Complimenting high-back sofas and Additions pedestal base table with power charging facilities were also installed in the reception area, creating an ad hoc workspace and informal meeting area.
SPPA kindly donated their old furniture, a collection of purple and blue armchairs, to a local church group, helping support their local community. The client is ecstatic with the new workspace, with staff embracing collaboration and the comfortable furniture.
