YPO education & office furniture framework

Flexiform is an approved supplier on Office Furniture Framework No 1281, and Educational Furniture Framework 1244 lot 6, contracts managed by Yorkshire Purchasing Organisation (YPO).

These frameworks are available to a broad range of public sector organisations, including schools, colleges, universities, local authorities, central government departments and agencies, NHS trusts, healthcare organisations, hospices, non-departmental public bodies, police forces, emergency services, registered charities, national parks, and registered social landlords. The frameworks run from 08 July 2025 – 08 July 2027 (possible extension to 7th July 2029).

why use this framework?

Flexiform has been working with the Yorkshire Purchasing Organisations (YPO) for over 15 years. With YPO’s 50+ years of experience delivering services and goods, teamed up with our expertise and history, we’ve delivered some excellent projects, including Leeds City Council and Arts Council England fitouts. YPO are 100% publicly owned by 13 local authorities, allowing the profits they make to be returned to their public sector customers, helping deliver better value for money. All suppliers on the framework are subject to a thorough audit process to ensure they deliver strong value for money, maintain high service standards, and provide quality products.

The frameworks offer both direct awards and further competitions. The direct award is an efficient and simple process. Customers can make a direct award through the frameworks to their preferred supplier for any required contract value, as there are no minimum or maximum spending limits under the framework. The direct award route is a pre-tendered and pre-evaluated process, meaning YPO has already carried out due diligence on the suppliers on the customer’s behalf. This allows customers to appoint their preferred supplier directly, avoiding the need for any further competition or procurement exercise.

The office furniture framework provides access to a wide range of furniture, along with free office design and space planning services, delivering excellent value and service levels. Alongside our own in-house BIM-compliant space planning department, Flexiform is also a manufacturer, producing UK-made office desking, tables, storage, and seating, with the capability to create bespoke furniture solutions.

In addition to our own furniture range, we work with a broad network of manufacturers to offer an even wider selection of products, including soft seating, booths, pods, and specialist solutions. This gives you access to leading brands such as Orangebox, Boss Design, JDD Furniture, Pledge Seating, Sixteen3, CMD, and many more under one service provider, making installs simple and easy.

This framework offers both mini-competition and direct award options. With pre-qualified suppliers and approved products already in place, there is no need to undertake a full OJEU procurement exercise.

The Educational Organisation Framework, Lot 6, is designed to provide Dining and Social Spaces. With our free commercial interior design and space planning services, our in-house teams can design cafés and canteens, breakout spaces, reception and welcome spaces, and informal learning/social spaces through this framework.
