Why ‘Transformative Teal’?

WGSN’s Transformative Teal captures a moment of change and renewed direction. It brings a sense of freshness, calm, and restoration, while strengthening our connection to nature. Across many of the predicted Colours of the Year, a clear theme emerges: the need to reset, refocus, and create more calming, supportive environments.

This colour aligns seamlessly with evolving workplace design trends. From biophilic interiors that introduce natural textures, tones, and planting, to agile working environments that prioritise focus and quiet spaces, Transformative Teal supports emotional regulation, wellbeing, and sustained concentration. We love Transformative Teal for its ability to balance creativity with clarity. It is rejuvenating without being overwhelming, helping to clear the mind, restore energy, and support thoughtful, focused work.

Teal Office Interior Inspiration

With its restorative and rejuvenating qualities, teal is well suited to a wide range of workplace settings. It works particularly well in breakout areas, kitchens, wellbeing rooms and quiet focus spaces, while also extending naturally into collaborative zones where a touch of creative energy is needed.

Depending on the environment, teal can be paired with calm neutral tones such as beige, grey and taupe for a balanced, understated feel, or complemented with warmer accents like coral or soft mustard to add depth and interest. These warmer tones help create spaces that feel welcoming, comfortable and thoughtfully considered.

Our in-house interior designer showcases different ways to pair ‘transformative teal’:
