Flexiform has successfully relocated and installed new and existing furniture at Business Steam’s new premises within Aegon’s Lochside Crescent campus at Edinburgh Park. Having originally installed their offices in 2010, we had extensive knowledge of Business Stream’s existing set-up and requirements to relocate their office furniture. Our team of installers managed to relocate two floors of 200 desks over a single weekend to ensure the company could be back fully operational at their new offices on Monday at 9am. We managed to utilise existing desks, while ensuring that where possible any new office equipment was sourced from recycled materials.
We worked alongside sustainable furniture consultancy, Collecteco, and charity partners to donate a large proportion of the office furniture that was no longer required, helping to extend the product lifecycle and support local community groups and charities.

Office Furniture Showroom Visits
Whilst picking out new furniture for their offices, we worked closely with the Chief Executive, and their office move team to guide and answer any questions they had, which included a visit to the Livingston Showroom where together we selected a number of suitable products. This enabled us to select bespoke solutions where needed, including a FlexiGrid display for their reception.
Utilising the original Pico white bench desks which were 13 years old, we matched additional furniture with white tops and added a splash of colour by bringing blue and grey fabrics and black and chrome accents. The result is a fantastic contemporary, comfortable and inspiring office space which will last Business Stream for many years to come.
