Dacorum Borough Council

Flexiform successfully completed the tender for the full fit-out, interior design, manufacture and installation of Dacorum Borough Council new headquarters. Flexiform called on the combined experience of our in-house Space Planning and design services to produce concepts for their new office spaces, customer services, atrium and café/ breakout areas.

Using a combination of 2D and 3D renderings Dacorum Borough Council were able to make detailed decisions before committing to any final design or product decisions. An innovative design decision was made, each floor within Dacorum Borough Council was colour coded in a combination of blue, green, red and yellow hues. Each individual floor has a mixture of breakout seating and informal meeting seating with high Parq tables, banquette seating and pedestal base tables. Finally, the client chose our highly adaptable Pico desks for traditional bench desks.

Our in-house teams designed and installed a range of bespoke furniture for the client’s Customer Service centre including bespoke fabric screens on either side of Pico single desks to create semi-private meeting booths. We also fitted out the Council Chambers in a traditional wood finish with reconfigurable tilt-top tables and cantilever seating.
