ESCA

Flexiform adapted the Olio Office Desk and Storage range for the newly designed ESCA offices in St Katherines Dock in London. Designed in partnership with both Orbit Architects and Paragon Interiors Group, our Olio range was ideal for creating an agile working environment with unique, functional desking spaces.

The Olio desking and storage system can be configured uniquely to allow staff to work collaboratively and privately within the same space. Olio was selected to help compliment the beautiful aesthetics of the building with stunning bespoke laminate light grey tops and fabric colour insert panels built into the storage. Bespoke curved fabric screens matched the panels, creating a distinctive look creating added privacy for some desks.

Agile Working Environment

Agile working frees staff from the traditional 9-5 working practices, encouraging staff to work in various areas and teams within the workspace, often staff don’t have one designated desk, instead, they are free to work within teams for a particular project or time frame – improving communication and ultimately productivity and results. This style of working is focused on performance and in many cases collaboration working between staff has been seen to improve the workplace wellbeing, which can have an effect on productivity within the office.

The installation ran very smoothly, the Flexiform team worked well in conjunction with the project team and other trades.

Having dealt with many furniture providers over the years, I was very impressed with Flexiform and would certainly use them again and recommend to others.

What has the follow up post install been like and can you rely on your account manager to help with any of your needs?
In the months after the refurbishment, we looked at the possibility of an office churn. The Design Consultant (Nicholas Ruggles) visited site at short notice and provided various proposals to help find the best solution. Additional furniture has since been required and every request has been handled in an efficient manner.
