Weston College, Winter Gardens

Working with Weston College, Flexiform have designed, manufactured and installed furniture throughout the college’s various campuses, including its Future Technology Centre and NSETC Campus. Providing a range of services, including new desking, storage, and breakout areas, Flexiform has tendered various projects, which range between £33,000 to £250,000.

Continuing from the success of the 2016 Weston College install, Flexiform installed a range of library and collaborative workspaces, classrooms, IT desks, cafés and ballrooms. Utilising our in-house Space Planning department, these work zones went through a series of layout options where the client was shown 2D and 3D plans and a series of static rendered visuals.

Bespoke Furniture

For this furniture installation project, Weston College worked with several of our in-house departments utilising our Space Planning, in-house Design and Engineering departments to create a bespoke ‘U’ shape work desk for students to collaborate on projects. These tables had to work around central data columns, an on-site survey helped to create accurate tables that were successfully installed and create a neat finish.

Agile Furniture

Various soft seating was chosen for students to relax or collaborate on, from simple tub chairs, pouffes, benches to media booths with integrated tables, power & data and monitors for full-blown digital projects. This style of furniture introduces students to office agile working environments, preparing them for when they graduate. All soft seating was supplied with hard-wearing fabrics suitable for busy areas.
