The brief for this 2018 install was to refurbish a Government Standards Agency office in London. Whilst retaining some of their existing furniture. This challenging brief consisted of Space planning and furniture specification, combining the two into one project. Flexiform installed new desking, storage, meeting booths, meeting tables and meeting chairs to revive the look and feel of the existing office.
The client chose the Pico Desk range and Jot-Up sit/stand desks with no screens to encourage collaboration and communication within the office. The sit/stand facility allowed staff to stand while working, improving staff wellbeing and productivity, by giving the staff multiple work position options. The full cable management facilities of Pico and height adjustability of Jot-Up desks, along with the adjustable monitor arms gave the client a full ergonomic setup.
Collaboration Areas
Central high back meeting booths and single work pods provided staff with the opportunity to collaborate or work independently on projects. Each of the meeting booths were upholstered and high sided to help absorb sound creating private areas suitable for confidential working without distracting other staff. To promote further collaboration and encourage staff to move freely through the office we installed Freestor Accent Lockers to store personal belongings such as bags.
